Adventures Beyond Wonderland Magical Maze

Adventures Beyond Wonderland Magical Maze

We have visited Lewis Carroll-inspired Alice In Wonderland worlds many times over the years, but Adventures Beyond Wonderland Magical Maze is one of the more memorable experiences we’ve had in this magical world. It’s a continuation of Quickspin’s Power Glyph series, and these special wild symbols can trigger 4 different Power-Up modifiers in the base game. The maze-like grid shuffles symbols along as winning symbols are removed, and keeping an eye on the White Rabbit is a good idea.
The White Rabbit literally carries the key to the bonus round, and he needs to find his way to the rabbit hole door at the bottom of the maze to trigger the feature. A wheel spins to determine your number of free spins, and also which of the 3 bonus round worlds you start out in. You can retrigger to change worlds, and each world comes with an enhanced Power-Up modifier that triggers more frequently. The876x potentialis a turd in the punch bowl though, but casual players will find plenty of entertainment tumbling down this rabbit hole.
You win when 3+ matching symbols form a vertical or horizontal line on the “maze grid”, and the low and medium symbols pay between 1 and 12 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. Winning symbols are removed and replaced, and this repeats as long as a new winning combo is created after the symbol shuffle.
Power Glyph symbolsare spawned when you land a winning combination of 3+ medium value symbols, and the Power Glyph serves as a wild symbol. It pays up to 50x your stake for 5 of a kind, and it also steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins. Low value symbol wins generate a regular wild symbol, which does the same.
ThePower-Up Stacklooks like a watch there on the left-hand side, and it gets filled with 12 random Power-Up icons per spin. Whenever a Power Glyph wild is part of a win, it puts the next Power-Up feature in escrow. The Power-Up modifiers you have racked up will then trigger as your current winning streak ends. Here is an overview:
You will see aWhite Rabbitholding a giant key as the first symbol in the maze grid per spin. TheBonus Roundtriggers when the white rabbit is shuffled all the way to the rabbit hole door at the end of the maze.
You will then tumble down the rabbit hole, and1 of 3 bonus round worldswill be selected for you randomly from a wheel. You also get a random number offree spins between 6 and 8from the wheel, and each world comes with an enhanced Power-Up that also hits more frequently. Here is an overview:
You win1 to 5 extra free spinsif the White Rabbit is shuffled all the way to the rabbit hole at the bottom during the same free spin winning streak. This also moves you to a new bonus round world. Non-UK players, and anyone eligible, canpurchase the bonus roundfor60x the stake, and this gives you a top-tier bonus buy RTP of 96.66 %.
You get a decent taste of the base game, without anything too exciting happening, before we purchase the bonus round at 0:41 into the 2:19-minute highlights video. We got the Cheshire Cat Bonus Round with 7 free spins from the wheel, and you can see for yourself how it all went by hitting the play button below.
We can start by saying that there is a lot to enjoy in Adventures Beyond Wonderland Magical Maze, and Qucikspin has captured the magical Lewis Carroll-inspired world in a lively, colorful, and entertaining way. The symbol shuffle maze system might be an acquired taste, but it’s fun to see how close the White Rabbit gets each time a winning streak triggers. Of course, it can also be equally frustrating when the rabbit keeps starting all over again most of the time.
The base game is livened up by different power ups on a fairly regular basis, but landing anything significant in the base game seems all but impossible. The max win is only876x your stakeafter all, which comes across as a bad joke in this day and age. It’s fun to tumble down the rabbit hole when the bonus round triggers though, and you get a varied experience with the possibility of visiting different free spins worlds. With a max win hit rate of 1 in 100m, this is hardly a game we recommend for “cynics” chasing life-changing payouts.
